7.2.2021 – He PURIFIES our Hearts to PREPARE us… that we may be ABLE to SEE and RECOGNIZE Him!

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.“—Matthew 5:8 NIV

“Blessed [anticipating God’s presence, spiritually mature] are the pure in heart [those with integrity, moral courage, and godly character], for they will see God.“—Matthew 5:8 AMP

Every so often,

the Lord will take me into another season

of doing a “deep, deep work” in my heart…

And, “I thought it was already taken care of,”

but something ugly will rise to the surface again,

and I’ll realize,

“…there is more work to be done.”

Often times the work that God does in our hearts…

is uncomfortable

humbling

inconvenient

painful

But God sees

what an uncultivated, impure heart

can give way to…

“The heart is deceitful above all things And it is extremely sick; Who can understand it fully and know its secret motives?”—Jeremiah 17:9

So out of His mercy and love, He invites us into another part of the “purification process.”

He invites us into the deep, healing work that our hearts need.

Because He wants us to be able to grow and keep GROWING in character,

He wants us to be able to see and withstand the schemes and the deception of the enemy.

God wants to protect us from “a fall” by purifying and preparing our hearts!

“Create in me a pure heart, O God,
and renew a steadfast spirit within me.”—Psalm 51:10

God wants to prepare and purify our hearts

so that we can

see

Him.

So that we can recognize

when it’s Him!

So that we’ll be ready to welcome

His “orchestration”…

ready to welcome the way of His Spirit

and ready to agree with and do

whatever it is that He is ready to do.

Because you see,

the enemy also wants to “prepare” us…

so that we’ll be ready to

“reject” God and His plans. 🥀

The enemy wants to get us into a place

where we cannot even see, we cannot recognize

that we reject

THE VERY THING

we’ve been praying for, and waiting for Him to do…

BUT PRAISE GOD…. 🙌for He PURIFIES 🔥🌦 the heart to PREPARE us 💗… that we may SEE and RECOGNIZE Him!

Oh God… help us to SEE what You need us to see in our hearts. I hear You knocking, and I invite You to do the work that needs to be done to purify and heal any wounded places in MY heart, so I may be READY and ABLE to SEE when it’s You! 💝☀️ That I will be ready to receive, ready to act, ready to do, whatever it is that You desire to do.

Blessed are the pure in heart… for they shall see God.

Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.”—James 4:8

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.“—1 John 1:9

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.”—1 John 1:7

They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”—Jeremiah 17:8

Thank You, Father. 💝
