What if discovering my next “assignment“…
is as simple…
as
doing the thing,
—being grateful for the thing
SEEING the thing…
that God has placed right here, before me to do…
“right now,
right here…”
Perhaps what I am already doing!
Right here within my own two hands.
Not what I see,
“over to the right
or to the left”
or “over there…”
But what if
“right here“
is all I need to be concerned with doing?
And “the future”
“will take care of itself”— as God orchestrates and illustrates my steps. 🌈
And has He not already? ☀️
Step by step.
Assignment by assignment.
As I remain in my, “right here, right now.”
…with my God! 💝
So I “let go” of worry,
my concerns over “knowing my next assignment“
over “doing what I am supposed to be doing.”
And I trust You, Father.
It is Your heart to direct my path, it is Your heart and Your will to lead me in what You desire for me to do.
And when I’m seeking You, wholeheartedly…
I will find You.
So I thank You for what You have given me to do, “right here, right now.”
“Big or small”
“seen or unseen”
“accepted or rejected”
“popular or not…”
Who am I to judge these things anyway?
What You have given me—THIS is what I will put my hands to.
And I will let go of reaching and striving— looking over at what others are doing…
I will seek Your face,
I will trust Your Name,
I trust Your way,
…I will do what You have placed right here in my hands,
…and You will continue to direct my path.
I know,
