I’ve been studying about “color and light” in a course that I’m taking.
I don’t know what it is about this part of the lesson, but I find it so intriguing…I’ve watched it over, and over and over… until finally, it’s beginning to sink in as understanding.
But if you are reading along, you’ll have to bear with me, because I’m still grasping and learning this…
But this morning, the excitement within my heart wants to burst forth! haha 💖

“Jesus acknowledged the existence of ‘dark’ light. He stated that this light is ‘dark’ and can fill the whole being. And when we are ruled by our soul—our mind, will, and emotions— the light of God does not shine from within us… the light of the soul does, and that light is ‘dark.’ Consequently, we lack spiritual perception, and we live in spiritual darkness.”- John Paul Jackson, from “Understanding Dreams and Visions Course”
We can see in the scriptures, that the more we are ruled by our “soul” and not ruled by the Spirit, the light within us is “dark”, and the light that we give off is a “light” that comes from an inner, “dark light”…. false, absorptive light that draws attention, rather than to the glory of God.
But the more we are transformed, led and “ruled” by the Spirit, the more we “give way” to God’s way and His will, and we are FILLED with His pure, white light…the light that shines from within us—His light— is able to radiate… and through us, His light produces an “eternal color” (an expression) that expresses God’s multifaceted character—an expression of His divine nature!
“Then a shoot will spring from the stem of Jesse, and a branch from his roots will bear fruit. The Spirit of the LORD will rest on Him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and strength, the spirit of knowledge and the fear of the LORD. And He will delight in the fear of the LORD, and He will not judge by what His eyes see, nor make a decision by what His ears hear…”—Isaiah 11:1-3
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.”—Galatians 5:22
So, the dark “colors” (or expressions) that can come of being led or “ruled” by the “soul” come from being filled with a false, “dark light” —they actually take away from us being able to express and radiate God’s pure light... and when we’re led by the Spirit, filled with His pure light, the “eternal colors” (His nature, His character, His expressions) can be seen and experienced in the earth, through us, from us radiating God’s pure, white light in and through our lives. 🌈✨

Is that not amazing?
It is HIS desire, to place His pure, white light within us, that we may become a LIVING expression of His heart and His LIGHT into this dark world!
“But you are God’s chosen treasure—priests who are kings, a spiritual “nation” set apart as God’s devoted ones. He called you out of darkness to experience his marvelous light, and now he claims you as his very own. He did this so that you would broadcast his glorious wonders throughout the world.“—1 Peter 2:9 TPT
Did you see that?
“…He called you out of darkness to experience his marvelous light, and now he claims you as his very own. He did this so that you would broadcast his glorious wonders throughout the world.“
When we live in His light, and when we are led by His Spirit, His LIGHT is able to FILL and radiate through us, and our souls do not get in the way of us “broadcasting” HIS Light, and His “glorious wonders throughout the world.”
“For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood from His workmanship, so that men are without excuse.”—Romans 1:20
Are we not part of His “workmanship“?
“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.”—Ephesians 2:10
And are we not also “created in His image“?
“So God created human beings in his own image….”—Genesis 1:27
…And He did this FOR A PURPOSE!
“…let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.“—Matthew 5:16
“For at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light…“—Ephesians 5:8

Heavenly Father,
May we be(come) a people…
who “broadcast” YOUR light
into this dark world…
—a people who do not fear “the night”
because we know Who lives and shines from within us…
May we fearlessly radiate ✨
the Light of Christ into the earth!
And may we LIVE as an expression of Your Heart into this dark world!
