This morning, I have a few specific people on my heart…
…and also multitudes of people
that I do not know.
So what do I do?
I take it to my Heavenly Father. đź’ť
So Father, I ask, that Your Holy Spirit would help me to pray Your heart for these situations—for these specific people, and for these multitudes of people that You’ve placed upon my heart.
You are faithful to show us what we need to see and be aware of—both within our own hearts, and around us, and You show us how to pray in accordance with Your will, and with Your wisdom, and Your way.
Oh God, the enemy is targeting many of Your people, the enemy is targeting and attempting to weaken Your people, to weaken faith, to cause death and destruction to Your plans for their lives…
But these attempts and schemes of the enemy are nothing new.
Oh God, You see, You know.
But God, YOU ARE GREATER!
And God, You are God Almighty!
And God, we are Your people, and we call upon You, to do what only You can do!
“I will contend with those who contend against you.”—Isaiah 49:25b
“The Lord is faithful and He will strengthen and protect you from the evil one.”—2 Thessalonians 3:3
I ask and pray Father, that by Your Holy Spirit, in accordance with Your will, that You would powerfully heal, encourage, and refresh Your people. And that You would so powerfully intervene in situations, in these lives…. in these places where traps have been set… where attempts of the enemy have the intention of weakening Your people, these attempts to cause death and destruction in lives, in ministries that You have led Your people into...I ask and pray, Father, that Your Kingdom come, Your will be done.
Where the enemy would like to diminish faith, may You DEVELOP and INCREASE faith!
That these attempts might “backfire“… ❤️‍🔥
and become a beautiful story
that would bring GLORY to Your name! 🙌✨
And may all see and know…
and encounter… Your glory
in and through these stories
in and through these scary situations,
within the lives of Your people.
And thank You, Father, that no matter how things seem on the surface…no matter how devastating, no matter how disappointing, no matter how scary…
You are guarding and protecting and surrounding us—Your people, as a Father who cares for His children.
And as we walk in Your will, there is truly no “safer” place to dwell.
So we will not fear,
but we will trust in Your name!
Thank You for being with us, God.
We remain steadfast, in YOU!
Fill us and renew our hearts and our minds with YOUR Word and Your wisdom and Your truth!
Purify our hearts, that there may be no landing ground for the enemy, within us.
We look to YOU…
And we take up the “shield of faith”…
…and we know, that in You, we are covered.
“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11Â Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12Â For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13Â Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14Â Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15Â And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16Â Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17Â And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18Â Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
19Â And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
20 For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.”—Ephesians 6:10-20
Thank You, Father. đź’ť Thank You, Lord Jesus for leading us to the Father. Thank You, Holy Spirit for being the greatest Friend, and for making us “able”…
May the words of this prayer “take flight”… and may the words of this prayer go forth along with the prayers of Your people, to “ignite”… and to give way…to Your will, and Your work being done in these situations that are being faced here among Your people.
“The God of Israel is He who gives strength and power to His people. Blessed be God!”—Psalm 68:35
