This morning, I spent some time looking through a couple of my journals from 2018, early 2019.
And I’ve noticed something…
When the Lord leads me into a “journey” back through my old journals,
He’s not leading me back through them so that I can dwell in or meditate on something “old“…
He’s leading me back through so that I’ll get to SEE something NEW. 💖✨☀️
As He leads me through the pages, the memories…
He highlights things
that I’ve never noticed or been able to SEE before.
New pieces of the picture that are coming together…
And I get to dig through
…and SEE something NEW.
It’s kind of like a beautiful stone that’s nestled in the ground…
We might walk right by it, and never notice it.
…But then one day, as we’re walking back by… and the LIGHT hits it—so precisely, in perfect timing
—the light hitting it just right.
It shimmers and shines…
And then we SEE it.
And we take NOTICE of it.
Suddenly so obvious to us… a treasure.
And we behold something beautiful, and brand NEW
…in a way that our eyes have never SEEN before.
that’s the way I see it. 💎✨☀️
And I believe, that if we keep our eyes
ready to see what He wants to show us…
there’s a brilliant perspective
a “brand new”
for our hearts to behold,
and for our eyes to see. 💖
Thank You, Father. 💝
Thank You for rescuing us from getting stuck in the “old”…as You lead us into, what is shiny and brand new. ✨ There is always more… to discover, in You.
