8.5.2021 – “Unseen, Unheard, and Forgotten”

How do you handle a situation…

where you feel,

unseen,

unheard,

unwanted

or forgotten?”

I haven’t always handled it well, to be very honest.

I’ve often struggled with seeing through the lens of rejection…

“…I KNEW it. ______ completely forgot about me, I knew I was ‘unimportant, unseen, unheard, and completely forgettable‘… what’s WRONG with me?”

Sure, any of us might feel the “sting” of feeling these things momentarily from time to time, no matter where we are in our journey.

But where is the pain taking you? Where is it leading to?

Does the pain settle in?

Offence

bitterness

jealousy

resentment

a rejection mindset

Does the pain fester,

and turn into a deep, infected wound?

Or perhaps the heart just goes cold and numb…

As children of God, we must take the pain straight to our Heavenly Father!

Lest our hearts become infected

leading us into destruction and death.

But God…

“The Lord is good,
A stronghold in the day of trouble,
And He knows those who take refuge in Him.”—Nahum 1:7

“The LORD your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.” —Zephaniah 3:17

Our God will mend our wounds,

He will soothe our pain with His peace, and with His presence.

He will help us to SEE what is true—no MATTER what we “see” in this life…

He rescues us from our own destruction!

“See if there is any offensive way in me; lead me in the way everlasting.”—Psalm 139:24

Here is the truth:

you are chosen,

you are known,

and you are cherished

by this One and Only

who SO loves you.

“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.”—John 3:16

“But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved)”—Ephesians 2:4-5

So don’t take the bait. ☠️

Choose the way of LIFE!

Let the pain only PROPEL you closer to Him!

Let God do the work that He wants to do in your heart! 💗☀️

He knows what He’s doing. 💝

And if you experience the “sting”

of feeling

unseen,

unheard,

unwanted,

or forgotten“…

remember the One who sees all things,

hears all things,

knows ALL things…

and He cares to know,

and to care for,

and to remember YOU.

And He wants to teach you

to forgive and to let go…

to be okay, in Him.

He’s growing you in capacity. 💗

That you’ll remember and KNOW

…that even if the people in this world world really do reject you,

forget about you,

or toss you to the side…

The God of the Universe sees you,

and He knows you.

He tucks you under His wing…

and He loves you through and through.

“I am the good shepherd, and I know My own and My own know Me.”—John 10:14

“…I have known you by name.”—Exodus 33:17

Thank You, Father. 💝

“You have searched me, LORD, and you know me.”—Psalm 139:1
