This morning, I am reminded…

…that in the midst of this

unstable,

chaotic,

dark,

and constantly-changing world…

We have a constant LIGHT

Who shines so bright. ☀️

I am thankful,

and I take comfort in knowing…

that in Christ,

I can take refuge

in our unchanging God,

our “Father of lights.”

“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.”—James 1:17

And in the midst of all of the change that I face…

both within me

and around me…

I am thankful

that His perfection

is changing and transforming me…

in the way that I see,

and hear,

and perceive

as He walks me in His path of light.

“…’to open their eyes, so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those sanctified by faith in Me.’“—Acts 26:18

“While you have the Light, believe and trust in the Light [have faith in it, hold on to it, rely on it], so that you may become sons of Light [being filled with Light as followers of God].” —John 12:36 AMP

“Once again, Jesus spoke to the people and said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows Me will never walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life.“—John 8:12

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.”—Hebrews 13:8
