There is something about the way that God “gets us into things”…

And somehow we find ourselves

in the middle of things

we never would have anticipated,

or expected,

or perhaps even dared to dream…

We couldn’t see it,

but He saw.

We don’t know exactly what we are to “be(come)”…

…but He does.

He sees,

He knows,

He’s “getting us there”…

And I’m so thankful that He can see the things I can’t.

But He is teaching me to see.

And I am learning…

that it’s better to let go of

my “ideas”

of what living my life “should look like”…

…because His idea is so much better. 💝

His view, His perspective, His plan…is so much higher…

He sees what’s important,

and what really is not.

He sees how my part of the story—His idea, birthed from within His heart—is intended to be written.

He sees every bit of the “cause and effect.”

He sees what matters in the bigger picture,

and also within the smallest details.

He even works out all of my shortcomings and weaknesses, somehow, so perfectly…

He knows what He’s built and designed, and what He’s growing to be.

He knows what I am to put my hands to,

and what I must let go of

to walk in His will, and in His way.

Father, 💝 I trust…

that You have a much better view—the highest view.

So I am learning to let go of my “ideas”

of what I think life “should look like”…

Jesus, I simply cling to You…

…and I’ll hang on for the ride. ❤️‍🔥

Oh, help me, Lord!

But I know,

that in this place…

I will be amazed

and what I get to see You do.

“Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him…”—Colossians 2:6

Father, Your will be done. 💗☀️

Lord Jesus, thank You for teaching me how to walk in You.
