11.4.2021 – A Change of Heart

Lord, let us not get hung up

in attempting

to hang onto “the same”…

For we all need transformation,

we all need change

Father, will You lead us into

what truly matters to You?

Thank You, Jesus…

for leading us out of our old ways,

and “growing us” into the new.

Thank You, Holy Spirit…

for giving us a fresh look,

for guiding us, always, into what is true.

Thank You, God…

for reminding us

of what truly matters to You.

For we so desperately need

the new thing that You desire to do!

“…For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.”—1 Samuel 16:7

“And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.”—2 Corinthians 3:18

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away, and look, new things have come.”—2 Corinthians 5:17
