I love the way the sunlight ignites a tree of fading leaves in the Fall…
Dull, dreary browns now sparkle golden amber… đâ¨âď¸
On a cloudy day, Fall trees appear dull and dreary,
but the moment the light hits the leaves,
the colors ignite with vibrancy, and we can see the beauty of the season.
And do you know why the leaves must fall? Why they must die?
“It’s a way of protecting the trees, and making sure they survive the winter and beyond. Leaves die during the winter months. If those dead leaves stayed on the trees, and new, working ones didn’t grow in their place, the trees would have no way of processing food for themselves.”
And I’m thankful…
that in these Fall seasonsâwhen we are facing seasons of change
seasons of “letting go” of the old…
God is doing something so glorious, so beautiful…
Behold, there is a “golden lesson” just waiting to be seen, just waiting to ignite and shine so gloriously…within every season of change.
There is purpose in every season of letting go,
that we might let go of the “old”…
…and grow into the new. đ đł
Thank You, Father, for the way You teach us, for the way You can use every situation, every season, every circumstance, everything that we face. đ
And there is a reason, a purpose in every season that You have in store for us.
You know exactly what we need in order to keep growing, that we might flourish and grow strong into the Spring, and beyond.
When our leaves begin to fade, and we feel a major change coming our way,
when we know we have to let certain things go…
we never have to fear, because You are near!
And You will so faithfully lead us into the next, new season that You have in store.
And in the midst of it all, You are making something beautiful out of seasons of change,
You make something so beautiful of the process of surrendering; of learning to let go…
“For everything there is a season,
A time for every activity under heaven.
A time to be born and a time to die.
A time to plant and a time to harvest.
A time to kill and a time to heal.
A time to tear down and a time to build up.
A time to cry and a time to laugh.
A time to grieve and a time to dance.
A time to scatter stones and a time to gather stones.
A time to embrace and a time to turn away.
A time to search and a time to quit searching.
A time to keep and a time to throw away.
A time to tear and a time to mend.
A time to be quiet and a time to speak.
A time to love and a time to hate.
A time for war and a time for peace.ӉEcclesiastes 3:1-8 NLT
Thank You, Father. đ
