“Be still and know that I am God”— Psalm 46:10
This week has been a whirlwind…
It’s so easy to get swept up in “all the things.”
This morning as I sat down at my table—I noticed, that it’s a pretty decent representation of all that is happening in my life right now.
I have one tiny little open spot
to set my bible and my journal and my laptop…
…and the rest of the table is filled with work things, bills and papers, my to-do list, and all sorts of random things all piled up, just “chomping at the bit”—just waiting in line to be addressed, and tackled, and checked off.
It’s so easy to become consumed with all of these things.
And as I sat down at the table this morning, it was like I knew, that I needed to come before the Lord and just “be still” and “know”…. that He is God…to “know” that He is here, and that He has been with me, walking me through every moment of the day—whether I have been tuning into that reality or not.
And so I tune into that reality… ❤️
I sit within the realization that
He is here…
and that He is
God
Almighty 💖✨
He walks with me. 🏃🏻♀️
Father…thank You for reminding me.
Thank You for always drawing me close,
and for reminding me
of what truly matters most.
And God, You know…
when I’ve been a bit distant,
when I’ve gotten swept up in the whirlwind of busyness.
Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit…
You are my closest friend.
How I need You every moment of the day.
How I need You to show me each and every step of the way…
And God…
when when I don’t think to speak to You within these fleeting moments of the day,
how You remind me…
that You are near,
how You remind me…
that You are
just
right
here. 💝✨
And in these times, I don’t even need to utter a word…
I can just be still within the moment,
and know…
that You are my God.
And I am in awe…
Thank You, Father. 💝
