God is like a Landscape Architect.
He designs every plant, so perfectly into place…
For He has the perfect landscape plan.
And He has in mind…
when it is the perfect time
for each flower, every tree, every plant
to flourish and shine…
He is the One who makes things grow.
He is the One who gives the increase.
Growth is His miracle. 🌱✨
I felt Him speak this into my heart this morning…
“Absorb whatever I have for you,
in whatever season you find yourself in…
Spring, Summer, Fall or Winter
Receive the nourishment I have for you,
right where you are…
whether it be rain or shine,
or rest in the wintertime.
Dwell in My peace,
and in patience you will endure.
And I will cause you to flourish and grow, in the perfect, appointed time!”
“For the vision is yet for the appointed [future] time It hurries toward the goal [of fulfillment]; it will not fail. Even though it delays, wait [patiently] for it, Because it will certainly come; it will not delay.”—Habakkuk 2:3 AMP
“Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, 3 now that you have tasted that the Lord is good.“—1 Peter 2:2-3
“…What, after all, is Apollos? And what is Paul? Only servants, through whom you came to believe—as the Lord has assigned to each his task. 6 I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow. 7 So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. 8 The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to their own labor.”—1 Corinthians 3:5-8
I love this from Enduring Word:
“Christian workers have different jobs and see different results, but God is the one who gets the work done. Only God… gives the increase.
i. When a farmer plants a seed, and waters it, he really does not make it grow. The miracle of life does that. All the farmer can do is provide the right environment for growth, and trust in the miracle of life. We do the same thing in ministering Jesus to other people.
ii. Some people are frustrated because they want to water when God has called them to plant, or they want to plant when God has called them to water. Others are frustrated because they want to make the increase happen, when only God can do that. Real fruitfulness in ministry happens when we are peacefully content with what God has called us to do.”
Thank You, Heavenly Father, that You give us all that we need in our “growth process”—the perfect source of nourishment, within the perfect time and season…. for You have planted each one of us in Your purpose…that we might flourish and grow in the perfect, appointed time, within YOUR perfect design! You know exactly what we need in order to grow, and exactly when we need it… and You have the perfect design in mind for each and every one of Your people. Thank You, Father. 💝
“And he will be like a tree firmly planted [and fed] by streams of water, Which yields its fruit in its season; Its leaf does not wither; And in whatever he does, he prospers [and comes to maturity].“—Psalm 1:3 AMP
