I saw a post on the She Rises Instagram, and I wanted to share it because I feel that it’s such a key reminder in this time we are living in.

It applies to every moment—every kind of situation of every day.

I also love the simplicity of the way it’s expressed…

And I am reminded also of these verses…

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.”—John 10:10

“For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.”—Romans 8:2

“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.”—Galatians 5:1

Yes, there is an enemy of Christ, who is spewing out threatening words of death, condemnation, fear, and destruction over us…

But God has spoken words of TRUTH and FREEDOM, and abundant LIFE over us, in Christ!

Let’s remember what we get to step into as children of God!

“So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.”—John 8:36

And by His Spirit, He leads us into truth.

“Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”—John 8:32

He gives us all that we need to be able to live and thrive within this time…

“Listen carefully: I have given you authority [that you now possess] to tread on serpents and scorpions, and [the ability to exercise authority] over all the power of the enemy (Satan); and nothing will [in any way] harm you.”—Luke 10:19

Thank You, Lord Jesus. ☀️ Help us to recognize when it’s You, and when it’s not. Help us to guard carefully the words that we speak. Help us to speak YOUR words of LIFE, that these words of LIFE may be infused into this world. Lord Jesus, YOU are the hope of the world, for You raise us from death to life, from darkness into Your glorious light! Thank You for allowing us to take part in the work of Your heart, God! May we radiate and shine… the HOPE of Your truth and life!

“And his name will be the hope of all the world.”—Matthew 12:21
