There’s a lot of pain and sickness in the lives of many of those around us right now…
This great need,
this deep desperation…
is stirring the heart of God.
He loves us, He knows our need, and His heart is tender and compassionate towards us. 💝
And God allows His heart
to be felt, to be heard…
within the hearts of His people.
And He’s stirring the hearts of His people,
drawing us into prayer and intercession
in a deeper way.
We could be overwhelmed and shutdown by all that we see swirling around us
but God is drawing us into, what I have heard Lana Vawser call
a “ferocious focus of faith” — I love that, don’t you?
And the people of God
are being drawn…
set on fire
unified in prayer
as our vision is put back into focus,
this “ferocious focus of faith” from the heart of God.
Isn’t that amazing?
your prayers do more than you realize.
Prayers that originate from the heart and the will of God
are also ignited by His faith that He gives us!
There is POWER in these compassionate prayers.
For God Almighty has placed these prayers within our hearts to pray…
that our prayers might become like a “shockwave” in the heavens and in the earth.
So don’t let the enemy convince you
that your prayers don’t mean anything.
Don’t let the enemy convince you
that your prayers don’t do anything.
God is inviting us into the work of His heart–His heart for the earth.
And we get to take part.
How incredible is that?
Thank You, Father.💝 Infuse us with the prayers of YOUR heart! Thank You, Holy Spirit, for showing us how to pray, and for giving us the words to say.
“Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.”-Romans 8:26
“And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him.”-1 John 5:14-15
“Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving.”-Colossians 4:2
“And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.”-Matthew 21:22
